- If your phones are usually quite
busy you may find it useful to take advantage of the 'divert when phones are engaged'
option. This would give you another phone line at your customers' disposal
- If you have more than one phone
and there are not enough people to answer them for a time ( at lunchtime
or when someone is off sick or just very busy) you may find it helpful
to use the 'Divert calls not answered in 15 seconds' option
- If nobody is in your office the
'Divert all calls' option could be used. This could be beneficial if everyone
is in a meeting;, if you are going out for a business lunch;, if you have to
be out of the office all day; or if you are going to be away for an extended
period of time, such
as a holiday
